We have six different types of playing surface padding. The most popular type is the Volara 2A closed cell foam. It is just a matter of preference, though, as we sell of a lot of all of these. We have a sample pack listed if you want to purchase samples first before you buy the padding. One word of caution: The high density padding is not always available. It is very popular, but it is hard for us to get because the demand for it is so high availability is limited.
